Welcome 2022! I spent the New Year in beautiful Wales but now I’m back. There was a bit of a squeaky bum moment leading up to it, with the divergence of Covid restrictions between England and Wales. I was having to keep an eye on what both countries were doing, and we hardly unpacked because there was the risk of having to leave and come back if anything changed. But apart from that mild jeopardy, a good time was had by all.
Wales is such a beautiful country. We stayed somewhere in Snowdonia, I would give you the name but I honestly can’t remember and would probably spell it wrong anyway. It was in the middle of some massive hills/mountains anyway, and it was bloody lovely to look at. Beautiful waterfalls, views that go for miles, and the weather was pretty mild as well.
I got to finally go to Portmeirion as well. I’ve always wanted to go there and devour any TV shows that feature it. The idea of it blows my mind, and the maintenance that goes into keeping it exactly as Sir Clough Williams-Ellis designed it is mindblowing. We had a proper nosey round there and went on one of the walks through the woods to the beach. Wow. I have never seen a beach so huge. The tide was out and I couldn’t see the sea at all – it was just beach for miles. And we were the only people on it. It was so, so beautiful.
Back to reality though, and 2022 has started with a bang. I’ve already got my first sales of the year (thank you very much people), and have kept my New Year’s Resolution to make a one design a week. I’ll be listing it as soon as I’ve finished this blog. It’s something a little bit different again, and it’s inspired by my seeming inability to go anywhere without carrying a small blue plastic utensil with me. I blame the cats.
Anyway, I’ve got to pop off now. Much love, and Happy New Year. Let’s hope it’s a wonderful and prosperous year for us all.
Today’s soundtrack: Very much a nu-metal vibe. Muchos Limp Bizkit.

“ I am a self-employed plasterer who wanted to advertise my business on Google. I contacted MaadWeb to find out my options. I found Adam very helpful over the phone, we arranged a meeting at my property and from there I was given the advice I needed. I made my decision on what I wanted and he put everything together for me. I am now advertising my services on Google. I found Adam to be very professional at his job and I am very pleased with the outcome. He told me to not hesitate to contact him if I needed to make any changes on the listing on Google or a website build. Thank you so much! ”
