Yes. We can discuss what sort of support you will require and I’m sure we can come to an agreement. Standard support can include any updates, backups and repairs to make sure the site is functioning the way it was after the build was completed, but if more work (further page builds, modifications, SEO, etc) are required, then this can be arranged too.
If you already own a domain name you can use this, or if you require a domain name, we can register one for you (if it’s available).
WordPress is my preferred software. I find that WordPress offers all of the functionality you could possibly need to build/improve a website. The fact that it is modular means that you can add new functionality as you need it. I have used other software in the past and found it too inhibitive and I work faster (so cheaper) with WordPress. If possible I would encourage any customers to move onto a WordPress based system (don’t worry, I can do this for you!).
No. I do offer (and encourage) a monthly contract as I’ve found this is the best way to offer the day-to-day support to keep a site operational. It also means I can adapt to any changes that search engines implement with regards to the algorithms they use to rank sites. However, you will not be tied in to anything and can leave at any time, for any reason.
No. I can’t currently offer the service cheaper than other companies so there’s no point. I can provide details/advice about other hosts and, of course, I will set up your site with any host that you choose.
I can diagnose most problems due to having encountered similar things in the past, however if I have to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is wrong, then this will be added to the bill. All problems can be fixed and I have a network of help and acquaintances that can help me if I’m really struggling to find a solution. If I can’t fix the problem, there is no fee.
