Hello again.
So, I took a break with the fam – a four-day trip to Barcelona – and it was brilliant. We tried to do the whole tourist thing and fit in all the attractions but alas, it was not to be. Rushing around like you’re in London doesn’t work when in you’re in Spain. It was knocking around 28-29°C every day so you just wanted to chill and drink coffee rather than rush around.
We did get to do a tour of the Camp Nou which was ace. It’s been on my bucket list since I turned it down when I was on a family holiday with my parents when I was 12. I opted for a pool day (like every other day that holiday) and I’ve regretted it ever since. However, I’m a firm believer in everything turning out ok in the end, and although it’s taken many years, it has happened again in this case.
We did pass a vomiting bug round the family but I managed to escape it. Pretty sure it came from the toddler who was sat in front of me on the plane on the way there. Poor little fella was vomming all the way there.
We managed to fit in some shopping and bring back some souvenirs. I came back with a Barcelona shirt with Lewandowski on the back (I’m far too old to have a name on the back) and a chest infection. Try as I might, there seems to be no way of getting any sort of prescription medicine right now. Doctors? You’re having a laugh. 111? Tried that, got a doctor’s appointment, and when I got there I was just in a 4-hour queue for A&E, which they didn’t tell me about until I asked an hour later. I resorted to doubling up my over-the-counter medication and tweeting Therese Coffey asking for spare antibiotics. Hopefully I’ll ride it out and not accidentally OD. If I do, blame the Tories. I think this country might be broken beyond repair.
Massive thanks to all my new customers – you guy’s rule!
Peace out x

“ I am a self-employed plasterer who wanted to advertise my business on Google. I contacted MaadWeb to find out my options. I found Adam very helpful over the phone, we arranged a meeting at my property and from there I was given the advice I needed. I made my decision on what I wanted and he put everything together for me. I am now advertising my services on Google. I found Adam to be very professional at his job and I am very pleased with the outcome. He told me to not hesitate to contact him if I needed to make any changes on the listing on Google or a website build. Thank you so much! ”
