1. Who I Am

My website address is: maadweb.co.uk. I provide professional web design, custom art prints, and analogue-to-digital media conversion services. When you work with Maadweb, you are dealing directly with me.

  • Order & Service Data: I collect your name, email, and address to fulfil your orders. This is necessary so I can complete our contract and get your items to you.
  • Analogue Media: I take the utmost care of your physical media (tapes, film, etc.) while it is in my possession. I store all media safely in my private office during the conversion process.
  • Newsletter: If you opt-in, I collect your email address to send you updates in the future. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Cookies & Analytics

  • Google Analytics: I use Google Analytics to see how visitors use my site. This data is anonymised.
  • Consent: I use the Complianz plugin to manage your preferences. Tracking only begins once you have accepted my cookie banner.

4. Who I Share Your Data With

I do not sell your data. I only share information with essential providers required to run my business:

  • Payments: Securely processed via Stripe or PayPal. I never see or store your card details.
  • Shipping: I share your delivery details with Royal Mail or my chosen couriers to send your prints or media back to you.
  • Digital Delivery: If you request it, I may temporarily share your converted files via secure cloud storage (such as Google Drive or Dropbox).

5. How Long I Keep Your Data

  • Tax Records: I keep order data for 6 years to comply with UK tax law.
  • Conversion Backups: I typically hold a digital backup of your converted media for 30 days after I’ve sent it to you. This is a safety measure in case of loss or damage in transit; after 30 days, I permanently delete these files.
  • Comments: If you leave a comment on the site, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely.

6. Your Rights
