How do I know I can trust Maadweb with my order or my media?

What is your ‘No-Fix, No-Fee’ guarantee?

For my technical and transfer services, I believe you shouldn’t pay for a result that doesn’t meet professional standards. If I can’t salvage your analogue media or diagnose a critical website error, you won’t be charged. My goal is to provide solutions, not just invoices.

What makes your prints different from high-street posters?

Unlike mass-produced posters, my designs are original pieces created with a focus on typography and pop culture nostalgia. Every print is produced on premium matte or semi-gloss paper using the highest quality inks. This ensures that your favourite lyrics or quotes stay vibrant and don’t fade over time, providing a gallery-standard finish for your home.

Can I request a custom song lyric or a specific colour scheme?

Absolutely. Custom commissions are a huge part of what I do. Whether it’s a first-dance song, a niche movie quote, or a specific colour palette to match your room’s decor, I can create a bespoke design just for you. What sizes do you offer and do they come framed?

From desk-sized gifts to gallery-standard wall art, I offer a full range of display sizes:
Small & Desktop: A6 and A5.

Framing: Professional framing options are available for most sizes.

How do you ensure my art arrives safely?

I take packaging seriously. A6/A5/A4 prints are sent in heavy-duty, board-backed envelopes, while all other size prints are carefully rolled in thick, protective cardboard tubes. I aim to be as eco-friendly as possible, and use compostable bio-film made from renewable plant starches to ensure your print arrives in mint condition. This material has a significantly lower carbon footprint than standard plastic and is certified to break down in industrial composting environments

Why are you moving away from Elementor to Gutenberg?

Elementor is a great tool, but it often adds a lot of “code bloat,” which can slow down your site and hurt your SEO. By using the native WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) and the Astra theme, I can build websites that are significantly faster, more secure, and easier for Google to rank. It’s about building a site that is “future-proof” and performs at its absolute best.

Will I be able to update the website myself once it’s built?

Yes! That is one of the main benefits of a Gutenberg-based site. The backend is very visual and intuitive. I provide a handover guide (and video walkthroughs if needed) so you can easily swap images, update text, or add new blog posts without needing to write a single line of code.

What does your ongoing support actually include?

My monthly maintenance is designed for “set and forget” peace of mind. It includes daily core, theme, and plugin updates, regular cloud backups, and security monitoring. Most importantly, I keep an eye on performance to ensure your site stays fast as it grows. There are no long-term contracts; I believe my work should be the reason you stay.

Do you help with SEO and Google rankings?

I build every site with an “SEO-first” mindset. Using Rank Math, I ensure your site has the correct technical foundation, including Schema markup, optimized metadata, and fast loading times (Core Web Vitals). While I don’t guarantee #1 rankings overnight, I give you the best possible tools to get there.

Analogue to Digital Media Transfer Services

How do I get my tapes or vinyl to you safely?

You can send your media via a tracked courier service, or if you are local to Nuneaton, we can arrange a drop-off. I treat every tape, film, and record as if it were my own family history. Once the transfer is complete, I return your original media along with your new digital files.

What happens if my tape is snapped or the quality is very poor?

I offer a “No Fix, No Fee” guarantee. If I cannot get a watchable or listenable signal from your media due to mould or physical damage, you won’t be charged for the transfer. For tapes that have snapped, I can often perform a basic repair to allow for the digitisation process to take place.

In what format will I receive my digital files?

By default, video transfers (VHS, Hi8, MiniDV) are provided as high-quality MP4 files, which play on almost any device (TVs, tablets, phones). Audio is usually provided as high-bitrate MP3 or WAV files. I can provide these via a secure download link or on a physical USB stick for a small additional cost.

Which video and audio formats can you transfer?

I can digitise almost any legacy format to preserve your memories for the future. On the video side, I handle everything from standard VHS and Betamax cassettes to camcorder tapes like Hi8, MiniDV, and Video8, as well as Super 8 and 16mm cine film. For audio, I can transfer your analogue cassettes, vinyl records, and Compact Discs into high-quality digital files.
